Ralph Mackie

Ralph has an acute eye for detail and an unparalleled knowledge of construction and facilities management developed over 45 years in the construction industry. Projects successfully completed include multi-level residential projects and car parks, industrial projects as well as institutional facilities in the education and health sectors.
After working with the family business, initially in carpentry and supervision, Ralph went overseas to gain experience involving six years working with major construction groups in the UK. During that period he gained valuable experience in construction management. Upon his return to Australia Ralph took over the business from his Father and developed the Mackie Group of companies to provide Architectural, Construction and Financial services to the construction industry.
Ralph’s wealth of experience is drawn on regularly for input into MSM & Associates projects, and Ralph takes an active role on providing expert advice and guidance to the office on various design and construction issues.
Michele Cobelens

Michele has been involved with MSM & Associates since its inception 30 years ago.
Michele takes an active involvement in all MSM projects, working alongside the Project Architect and the team throughout all stages of the project to ensure that the client’s goals are met.
Michele works with clients towards realising their goals by assisting clients to develop a detailed project brief, reviewing the project against the brief at all design stages with the client and project architect, co-ordinating sub consultants, and liaising with local authorities such as Councils, to bring the project to fruition.
Michele’s experience in liaising with multiple stakeholders and user-groups has provided her the necessary competencies to manage the communication processes to successfully deliver Council projects and other State Government projects. Working with the MSM project team, Michele will ensure that the flow of information between the Project participants is efficient and effective and consistent throughout the project duration.
Having worked with Local and State Governments for the past decade, Michele has seen the requirements for sustainable design to be incorporated into new projects. Consequently, Michele has been involved with the design, development and implementation into various MSM Projects many of the current sustainable technologies including rainwater harvesting, solar generation and passive cooling.
Natasha Stone

Natasha has over 25 years post graduate experience in the practice of architecture, including 6 years work experience gained whilst living in England. Natasha has a broad experience base having worked in different industry sectors including Education, Health, Aged Care, Retail, Commercial and Residential. Natasha has experience with projects that have a complex client structure. Projects may have differing funding bodies for the one project, multiple user groups within the one building or site, and often developer vs tenant requirements; and therefore maintaining good lines of communication between all interested parties is vital to the success of the project.
Natasha is involved with MSM projects from inception to completion, guiding projects from early project briefing through all design stages from Concept Design, through Design Development to the production of Construction Drawings including selection of fittings, fixtures and furnishings to provide a complete design solution. Natasha provides guidance to clients through the Town Planning process as required, is involved in the production of Contract Documentation and Specification writing, and remains involved in projects throughout the Construction Stage.

Jessica is a registered architect with extensive experience working within the health care sector, specialising as a health architect. Over the last 12 years she has worked closely with health care professionals to deliver highly complex architectural projects, such as hospitals, on time and on budget.
Jessica works extensively in the design of ‘Assisted Living’, Health care' and ‘Aged Care’ residential accommodation.
Jessica is qualified as an LHA Guideline Assessor to undertake design stage and as-built assessments for Livable Housing Australia (LHA) and to issue the relevant logo/ provide certification that designs meet the relevant silver, gold or platinum level of the guidelines.
As well as specialising in the health sector, during her time at MSM, Jessica has gained a diverse range of experience in various different typologies of architecture from small scale residential to Government and Independent schools, working on medium to large scale projects following them through all stages of design from feasibility to contract administration.

Kerri is a registered architect with over 20 years’ experience in a diverse range of building sectors including residential, commercial, health and educational sectors. At MSM Kerri specialises in health and education projects, and also works on residential projects, both single occupancy and multi-residential buildings.
At MSM, Kerri progresses projects from concept design to contract documentation, and also is involved in the interior design and specification writing for her projects. Kerri will liaise with various authorities and consultants as required for her projects to ensure a smooth transition from design documentation to achieving Town Planning and Building Permits. Kerri also remains involved during the Construction Stage as a Contract Administrator.
Tim Drane

Tim has over 20 years’ experience in architecture which includes work in the UK and South Africa that exposed him to various project types including education, residential , hospitality, technology and healthcare sectors.
Tim has proven himself to be strong in the design development of projects but is also highly capable in concept design and documentation and creatively interpreting data and clients briefs into a physical outcome.
Tim’s role at MSM is as a building concept designer and documenter, and he is the office REVIT manager. During Tim’s time at MSM he has been involved in various projects across all design and documentation stages for multiple residential and education buildings. Tim is a designer who works with the client’s brief to create the concept design and presents his ideas using 3-D modelling to assist the client’s understanding and visualisation of the proposals.
Victor Negrao

Victor, as a Graduate Architect, has over 6 years post graduate experience in the
industry in Brazil and Australia, working on residential, commercial,
education and healthcare projects from design development to construction
documentation.
Victor’s duties at MSM are to deliver full documentation including both
town planning and construction documentation; the provision of full
working drawings including plans, sections, elevations and details
dictated by Building Code of Australia, local authority requirements and
relevant planning requirements.
Victor has excellent drafting and modelling skills which are highly sought
after in the architectural field which allows him to tackle any project with
ease. Victor also has an excellent work ethic and can be relied upon to
deliver to a high standard projects and meet client expectations.
David Capon

David has over 30 years’ post graduate experience in various industry sectors including health, education, hospitality, retail and residential. David has an interest in sustainable design, building design and documentation, and in public art and sculpture. His experience has been gained both here and overseas, having spent 6 years living and working in the UK.
Whilst at MSM, David been involved with mostly residential and education projects including single occupancy, dual occupancy, and multi-residential medium rise apartment projects, as well as various school projects. At MSM, David’s main focus is on the design and documentation stages of projects. He takes projects from Concept Design through to Contract Documentation, and his role includes material specification, façade and interior detailing. David is involved in Town Planning Applications and ensures project designs to comply with various Authority and Council restrictions, as well as fulfilling the client’s brief.
